Are the photos on Picitra edited or raw?

Picitra specializes in sensor-pure photography — what you see is close to what the camera captured. Our images are intentionally left raw or minimally edited to preserve their emotional authenticity and visual integrity.

Can I re-download my photos later?

Yes, your download link remains valid for a limited time after purchase (e.g., 14 days). If you lose access within that period, contact support with your purchase details, and we’ll resend the link.

Can I request a custom photo or commission a shoot?

At this time, Picitra is a closed, curated gallery, and we do not offer custom shoots. All photographs are carefully selected by the artist for their emotive and visual strength.

Can I sign up for an account on Picitra?

Yes, creating an account allows you to track your orders and manage your downloads in one place. However, Picitra currently does not support saved favorites or image collections.

Can I use Picitra’s photos for commercial work?

Yes, all purchases include a royalty-free license that allows you to use the images for personal and commercial purposes. This includes social media, websites, advertising campaigns, and printed materials — without any recurring fees.

Can I use the photographs in merchandise like t-shirts or prints?

Absolutely. Our licensing covers usage on physical merchandise, including t-shirts, posters, packaging, and more. However, redistribution or resale of the unaltered photo file itself is not allowed.

Do I get exclusive rights to the photos I buy?

The photographs on Picitra are offered under a non-exclusive license, which means the same image may be chosen by others as well. Once you purchase, however, you are free to use that image any number of times, across personal and commercial projects, without needing to make additional purchases. Think of it as a moment you’ve picked and made your own—while still remaining part of a wider story shared with others.

Do you offer refunds or exchanges?

Due to the digital nature of our photographs, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. Please review the image, description, and resolution details carefully before purchase.

How do I receive my purchased photograph?

After your payment is confirmed, you’ll be redirected to a secure download page and also receive an email with the download link. Downloads are available instantly, and links remain active for a fixed period post-purchase.

How often is the gallery updated with new photos?

New images are added on a curated basis, rather than a fixed schedule. This ensures that every photo uploaded meets the artistic and emotional criteria that define Picitra.

I’m a photographer. Can I contribute to Picitra?

Currently, Picitra is a closed collection, curated and maintained solely by the founding artist. However, if a future expansion or collective is planned, we’ll announce submissions through our newsletter or blog.

What do I get when I purchase a photo from Picitra?

You receive a high-resolution digital photograph immediately after checkout, available for download. The image comes as a JPG file with no watermark, ready to use in your creative or commercial projects.

What file format and resolution are the photos?

Most images are provided in high-resolution JPG format, suitable for both print and web use. Typical resolutions range between 3000–6000 pixels on the longest side, ensuring versatility for various design needs.

What payment methods are accepted?

We currently support PayPal only, ensuring safe and secure global transactions. You can pay using your PayPal balance or linked bank/card account — no PayPal account is required for most regions.

Why can’t I favorite or save photos for later?

Picitra is designed to be a minimal and intentional experience. We want you to connect with each image deeply in the moment, not scroll endlessly or build shopping carts. That said, we are exploring new features for future releases.
